Matthew Wheeler
Matthew started his martials arts training 30 years ago in Kodokan Judo, before finding Ninjutsu and the Ann Arbor Quest Center in 2010. He has trained diligently there, with other teachers, and over seas since. He took over ownership of the school at the end of 2022 when Keith and Donna retired.
During his tenure as an instructor at Quest, he has navigated the community through the difficulties of the pandemic, oversaw the relocation of the school to a new home after the previous building no longer served their needs, and continues to strive to learn more in the Ninjutsu traditions and bring superior instruction and community to the students and their families.
Matthew additionally trains in two classical martial systems while also rolling with the University of Michigan Judo Club.
