It’s a scary world out there.
Every night the news is full of stories of people hurting others. So you decide you should protect yourself and your family.
When it comes to self-defense, you really need to consider a few things.
First of all, what is the level of force you are comfortable using? Forget the action movies and just be honest. Would you use a weapon if one was available? Could you live with the consequences of your actions?
The next point, legal ramifications in your neck of the woods. Know your rights and responsibilities. Do your own homework and know the legal system for your area of the world. TV, friends, family and movies will tell you all sorts of half-truths, but you don’t want to end up surviving a self-defense situation only to end up in jail.
With these two considerations out of the way, it’s time to find a place to learn the self-defense that you are most comfortable with. Firearm, empty hand or other?
Happy training.
Quest had changed my life. I have learned many invaluable
Quest has been an amazing experience! They have fantastic teachers that are really great at engaging the kids and getting them to really listen to what is being said. It's even better that that also reflects at home. Highly recommend.
Our kids just love spending time at Quest. I knew it was a good choice when I heard my kids (8, 5, & 4) start talking about their "self-discipline." We would highly recommend Quest Martial Arts to anyone!
